Burseryds Bruk was founded in 1910 and the company has always been committed to both innovation and flexibility. The community is highly supportive of the company, since most of our employees live in Burseryd or its surroundings. Burseryds Bruk AB has been a subsidiary of the US-based company Illinois Tool Works (ITW) since 1995. ITW's sales amounted to about USD 9.5 billion in 2002. At that time the Group consisted of about 600 business units with some 50,000 employees. Stability, honesty, and confidence are three keywords within the Group – synonymous with running a good business operation.
Burseryds Bruk AB manufactures cold rolled steel products
that are sold through the company's own organization. We work in the product
areas Steel Cable, Strapping for Wine Barrels, Cold Rolled Steel, Hot
Dip Galvanized Steel and Steel Strapping.
